Please be informed that, pursuant to the decision of the Exchange Council of Ukrainian Resource Exchange LLC (URB) (Minutes No. 8 dated June 18, 2026), amendments have been made to the Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of Exchange Trading for the “Unprocessed Timber and Lumber” market and the Regulations on Obtaining Commodity Exchange Membership by adopting new editions of both documents.
The main amendments to the Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of Exchange Trading for the “Unprocessed Timber and Lumber” market include:
- establishing procedures for the information support of exchange transaction performance;
- revising the deadlines for signing exchange certificates in the Electronic Trading System (ETS);
- regulating the allocation of the Exchange’s clearing operational day and expanding the functionality of the ETS outside the Exchange’s regular business hours;
- updating the Questionnaire for a branch/representative office of a legal entity – Exchange client in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention and Counteraction to the Legalization (Laundering) of the Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.”
The main amendments to the Regulations on Obtaining Commodity Exchange Membership include:
- establishing deadlines for applicants to remedy deficiencies in submitted documents and providing the Exchange with legal grounds to cancel inactive or improperly completed applications in the ETS;
- updating the Questionnaire for a legal entity – Exchange client and the Questionnaire for an individual entrepreneur / individual engaged in business activities (resident or non-resident of Ukraine) – Exchange client, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention and Counteraction to the Legalization (Laundering) of the Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.”
The Exchange has also published new editions of the Standard Agreement for the Sale and Purchase of Unprocessed Timber and the Standard Agreement for the Sale and Purchase of Fuelwood. The principal amendment concerns the revision of the provisions governing the delivery period of the goods.
